Wunmi Mosaku Joins Ryan Coogler’s Supernatural Horror Thriller

Wunmi Mosaku, (‘Loki’ and ‘Lovecraft Country’) is the latest to join the untitled supernatural horror thriller helmed by director Ryan Coogler. Mosaku will star alongside previously cast Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell, and Jayme Lawson.

While specific details about the film remain tightly under wraps, insiders suggest that it will be set against the backdrop of the Jim Crow-era South and may incorporate elements of Southern supernatural folklore, possibly including vampires. Jordan’s involvement, rumored to involve dual roles as twin brothers, adds further intrigue to the storyline.

Coogler, renowned for his directorial prowess in films like “Black Panther,” has penned the script and will also produce the project under his banner, Proximity Media. Joining him in production are Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian.

Warner Bros. emerged victorious in a heated bidding war for the rights to the film, securing a unique deal that grants certain rights back to the filmmaker over the years. With a slated release date of March 7, 2025, and plans for Imax screenings, anticipation is building for what promises to be a groundbreaking addition to the horror genre.
