Six Join Kevin Hart in Netflix Comedy ‘72 Hours’; Tim Story to Direct

Netflix is expanding the cast of its upcoming comedy 72 Hours, with six cast to join Kevin Hart in the Tim Story-directed feature.

Teyana Taylor (Straw), Ben Marshall (Saturday Night Live, Please Don’t Destroy), Zach Cherry (Severance), rising comedian Kam Patterson (making his feature debut), SNL’s Marcello Hernández, and Scream actor Mason Gooding have officially boarded the film.

In 72 Hours, Hart plays a 40-year-old executive who’s mistakenly added to a group text and ends up crashing a rowdy three-day bachelor party with a crew of twenty-somethings in Miami. Mason Gooding is set to play the groom at the center of the chaos, while Hernández plays the best man and party ringleader.

Tim Story (Think Like a Man, Ride Along) is directing from a script by Matt Mider & Kevin Burrows, and Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg. The film continues Hart’s ongoing partnership with Netflix, following projects like Lift, Fatherhood, and The Man from Toronto.

Production is currently underway in Miami.
