50 Cent is giving us spinoffs and adaptions.
After announcing he’s giving at least three BMF spinoffs in the newly titled BMF Immortal franchise, 50 Cent revealed to he has an 8 Mile tv show in the works.
While speaking with Big Boy on Big Boy TV he said “I’m gonna bring his 8 Mile to television. We’re in motion.” Before confirming that Eminem gave him his blessing and is collaborating with the “Lose Yourself” rapper to adapt the 8 Mile TV show.

When Big Boy asked the rapper whose idea it was to turn the cult classic film into a series and whether or not he had to convince Eminem, 50 Cent said he didn’t.
“I think it should be there for his legacy, because if you don’t see… it’s important to me that they understand it,” the rapper said. “You know what I mean?”
Although the project is in the early stages 50 Cent explained that the show’s format will be similar to Bel-Air which was a modern retelling of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot.

8 Mile was released in 2002 and it was directed by Curtis Hanson. The film starred Eminem in a story loosely based on his life and rise to stardom. Eminem plays Jimmy, a white rapper that uses the stage name B-Rabbit and his journey to launch his hip-hop career. The film also starred Kim Basinger, Brittany Murphy, Mekhi Phifer, among others. Eminem won an Oscar for Best Original Song, “Lose Yourself.”

After 50 Cent’s interview, the rapper shared a screenshot of an article and added, “Yeah and you thought i was PLAYING around, Im so serious man ! this is gonna be crazy.”
