Apple TV+’s critically acclaimed drama, “The Morning Show,” is gearing up for its fourth season with the addition of Aaron Pierre.
Currently in production, “The Morning Show” delves into the competitive world of morning news, highlighting the personal and professional lives of those who help America start its day. The conclusion of Season 3 left viewers in suspense as Alex (Jennifer Aniston) thwarted Paul Marks’ (Jon Hamm) attempt to sell UBA to his tech company, Hyperion. However, UBA now faces a potential merger with another media company, hinting at possible layoffs and restructuring in the upcoming season.
Returning stars include Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Greta Lee, Mark Duplass, and Nestor Carbonell. Season 4 will also see the debut of Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.
Pierre will take on the role of Miles, an acclaimed visual artist navigating the elite circles of New York.
Executive producers Witherspoon and Aniston continue their involvement with “The Morning Show,” which was developed by Kerry Ehrin. The series is directed by Mimi Leder under a multi-year overall deal with Apple TV+ and produced by Michael Ellenberg, Media Res, Hello Sunshine (a Candle Media company), and Echo Films. Charlotte Stoudt serves as showrunner and executive producer under her multi-year deal with Apple TV+.
Aaron Pierre’s recent projects include his portrayal of Malcolm X in NatGeo’s “Genius: MLK/X” and a lead role in “Foe”. His upcoming roles include Jeremy Saulnier’s thriller “Revel Ridge” and voicing Mufasa in Barry Jenkins’ prequel to “The Lion King.”
