Lifetime is set to premiere a new biopic, “Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall,” on Saturday, August 10 at 8/7c, followed by the documentary “Call Me Miss Cleo” at 10/9c.
The biopic features Robin “The Lady of Rage” Allen in the lead role. Directed by Tim Reid (Sister, Sister), the film chronicles the turbulent journey of Youree Dell Harris, better known as Miss Cleo, a single mother who became a prominent television psychic.
In the late 90s, Youree Dell Harris, struggling to support her family, took a job with the Psychic Readers Network. Her vibrant persona, Miss Cleo, quickly became a beloved icon, known for her colorful turban and empathetic ear in the network’s infomercials. Despite her popularity, Miss Cleo faced significant challenges when the network was accused of fraud and deception, forcing her into the spotlight to defend her reputation and clear her name.

“Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall” also stars Daphne Maxwell Reid, Cocoa Brown, Shane Johnson, Ian Bohen, Dwayne Boyd, Towanda Braxton, Jaida Standberry, Marley Taylor, Amelia Young, Stevie Baggs Jr., Chantal Maurice, and Leslie Black. The biopic is produced by Hillionaire Productions for Lifetime, with Jami McCoy-Lankford, Samone Norsworthy, Anthony Standberry, and Ahmed Hussain serving as executive producers. The screenplay is written by Camara Davis.
