AMC Networks unveiled a teaser trailer and images for “Parish,” a gripping six-episode drama set to premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2024. The series is led by Giancarlo Esposito, known for his roles in “Breaking Bad” and “The Mandalorian,” who also serves as an executive producer.

Esposito portrays Gracian “Gray” Parish, a family man and affluent owner of a New Orleans luxury car service. Following the tragic murder of his son and the collapse of his business, Gray’s encounter with an old wheelman friend reignites past habits, propelling him into a high-stakes confrontation with a violent criminal syndicate.

Filmed on-location in New Orleans, “Parish” also stars Zachary Momoh as The Horse, a Zimbabwean gangster; Paula Malcomson as Rose, Parish’s wife; Skeet Ulrich as Colin, an old acquaintance of Gray; Bonnie Mbuili as Shamiso Tongai, The Horse’s protective sister; Ivan Mbakop as Zenzo, The Horse’s brother; Arica Himmel as Makayla, Gray and Rose’s daughter; and Dax Rey as Luke, The Horse’s son.

Bradley Whitford makes recurring appearances as Anton, the suave face of industrial business in Louisiana with a covert criminal agenda, while Amanda Brugel guest stars as Sister Anne, a mysterious figure from Gray’s past. Watch the trailer below.

“Parish” is an adaptation of the acclaimed U.K. series “The Driver,” created by Danny Brocklehurst and Jim Poyser. Produced by AMC Studios in collaboration with A+E Studios and Thruline Entertainment, the show is helmed by co-creator and executive producer Brocklehurst, with Eduardo Canto and Ryan Maldonado as showrunners and executive producers.
