Giancarlo Esposito Joins Cast of Thriller 'Please Don't Feed the Children' in Spielberg's Directorial Debut

Giancarlo Esposito has joined the cast of the psychological thriller Please Don’t Feed the Children. The film, directed by Destry Allyn Spielberg in her feature debut, also stars Michelle Dockery, Vernon Davis, Joshuah Melnick, Emma Meisel, Dean Scott Vazquez, Zoe Colletti, Regan Aliyah, and Andrew Liner.

In Please Don’t Feed the Children, after a viral outbreak ravages the country’s adult population, a group of orphans heads south in search of a new life, only to find themselves at the mercy of a deranged woman harboring a dangerous secret.

Paul Bertino penned the thriller. Details on characters have yet to be revealed. Jason Dubin produces for Perry Street Films, alongside Josh Kesselman and Michael Hagerty. Altitude Films handles international sales for the indie production.

Esposito’s impressive career extends to The Mandalorian, Godfather of Harlem, Kaleidoscope, and The Boys. A five-time Emmy nominee, he lends his voice to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. His upcoming projects include AMC drama Parish, Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen, the Russo brothers’ Netflix film The Electric State, A24’s MaXXXine, and Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis. Esposito is represented by Sugar23, CAA, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
