Netflix just released the trailer for Beauty in Black Part 2, and things are about to get even messier. Set to debut on March 6, 2025, this second installment picks up right where Part 1 left off, diving deeper into the drama that gripped viewers when the series premiered on October 24, 2024.
The trailer opens with Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) in full panic mode. Her sister is missing, and Kimmie’s voice-over sets the tone: “They have my sister. I will do anything. We have to find her.” What follows is a whirlwind of intense moments—threats flying, alliances shifting, and someone getting thrown from a window. As Kimmie vows not to let “them do to her what they did to me,” the trailer flashes through key characters, teasing what’s in store. Meanwhile, the fate of Charles (Steven G. Norfleet), who may or may not have survived the fiery car explosion from Part 1, has the Bellaire family on edge.
Horace (Ricco Ross) sums it up best: “This is war.” And if the escalating chaos in the trailer is any indication, it’s going to be an all-out battle.
Beauty in Black Recap
Created, directed, written, and executive produced by Tyler Perry, Beauty in Black follows two women whose lives collide in ways they never expected. Kimmie is struggling to stay afloat after being kicked out by her mother, while Mallory (Crystle Stewart) is a thriving businesswoman. Their contrasting worlds eventually intertwine, bringing plenty of drama and jaw-dropping twists.
Part 1 ended with a major cliffhanger: Kimmie crashes her car into Body (Tamera “Tee” Kissen), a low-level boss at the club where Kimmie works. The wreck leaves viewers wondering about the fates of Kimmie, Body, and Kimmie’s sister, Sylvia.
