Step behind the velvet rope and into the world of Beyond the Gates, CBS’ highly anticipated Black-cast daytime soap opera. Entertainment Tonight is giving viewers exclusive access with a five-part special, Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood, airing February 17-21. Hosted by ET’s Kevin Frazier and comedian Sheryl Underwood, the special airs daily on CBS (2:00–2:30 PM ET; 1:00–1:30 PM PT) leading up to the series premiere on February 24.

Filmed in Atlanta, Welcome to the Neighborhood takes viewers deep into the making of Beyond the Gates, from the cast’s first table read to exclusive on-set interviews. The series promises drama, secrets, and powerful Black representation, all set in Fairmont Crest—a posh gated community in Maryland’s affluent suburbs.
The ET special highlights the show’s 27 meticulously designed sets, high-fashion wardrobe, and custom wigs, all crafted to bring the world of Fairmont Crest to life.

About Beyond the Gates
Set in Fairmont Crest, just outside Washington, D.C., Beyond the Gates centers on the Dupree family—a powerful multi-generational dynasty. Behind the manicured lawns and lavish homes lie secrets and scandals waiting to be revealed.
This historic series is the first Black-led daytime soap and the first new daytime drama in over 25 years. Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnee Duplaix, and Karla Mosley lead an extraordinary cast. The show is a collaboration between CBS Studios/NAACP Venture and P&G Studios.
