NBC released the trailer for Season 2 of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, confirming the mockumentary sitcom’s return November 2, with next-day streaming on Peacock. Boris Kodjoe, Jeremy Culhane, and NBC Sports broadcaster Mike Tirico all join the cast, revealed in the new footage.

Season 2 continues following Reggie Dinkins, a disgraced former NFL star played by Tracy Morgan, and British documentarian Arthur Tobin, played by Daniel Radcliffe, as they pursue Reggie’s messy, bumbling quest for public rehabilitation. Kodjoe joins as Leslie “LP” Pervis, a new love interest for Monica, Reggie’s ex-wife and business manager, played by Erika Alexander. LP was a dorky college prodigy alongside Reggie and Monica, now reintroduced as a jet-setting entrepreneur. Culhane plays Max, a Gen-Z marketing hire Monica brings on to help jumpstart Reggie’s stalled comeback, while Tirico appears as himself.

The season’s new storylines, Monica navigating a new relationship and Reggie leaning on a young PR hire to reclaim his public image, continue the show’s pattern of filtering Reggie’s redemption arc through the people around him rather than through Reggie alone, keeping the ensemble central to the mockumentary’s comedic structure. That approach places Morgan’s lead performance inside a show built on layered supporting relationships, a structure that’s given the series’ Black ensemble cast, including Alexander, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall, consistent narrative weight rather than peripheral roles around two white leads.

The series is created by Robert Carlock and Sam Means, who also write and executive produce, alongside Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Eric Gurian, and David Miner. The full cast includes Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall. The series is produced by Universal Television through Little Stranger, Bevel Gears, 3 Arts, and Means End Productions.

With three new additions now confirmed and a premiere date locked, the next thing to watch is how Kodjoe’s character reshapes Monica’s arc, and whether Season 2 builds on the ensemble dynamics that defined the show’s first season.
