CCH Pounder, Jharrel Jerome Join Zazie Beetz in HBO Max’s Limited Series Full Circle

CCH Pounder, Jharrel Jerome join Zazie Beetz in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming HBO Max limited series Full Circle. The limited seres also stars previously cast Claire Danes, Timothy Olyphant, Dennis Quaid. and Sheyi Cole. Full Circle is centered on an investigation into a botched kidnapping. That investigation uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.

Full Circle is centered on an investigation into a botched kidnapping. That investigation uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.

Exact details on what characters those cast will be playing are being kept under wraps.

The show, which HBO Max ordered all the way back in August 2021 will consist of six episodes. All of which Soderbergh is directing and executive producing. Ed Solomon is attached to write and executive produce as well. Casey Silver will also executive produce. This is the second time the above trio is working together. They previously worked together on the HBO Max film No Sudden Move.

It was announced in January 2020 that Soderbergh had signed a multi-year overall deal with HBO and HBO Max that would see him develop television series across both platforms, with the deal also including a first-look deal for films. He previously directed the feature “Let Them All Talk” for the streamer in addition to “No Sudden Move.” He is also an executive producer on the HBO Max unscripted series “The Real Magic Mike.”

Up next, Pounder will next be seen reprising her role of Mo’at in the Avatar sequel The Way of Water, set to hit theaters on December 16, and in the upcoming Netflix film Rustin, directed by George C. Wolfe, slated for release in 2023. While Jerome is set to star in and produce Night Of the Assassins, which is in the works at Sony Pictures TV, and in Amazon’s I’m a Virgo series for writer-director Boots Riley.
