Chi McBride Joins Logan Browning, Sam Worthington in Netflix’s Harlan Coben Thriller ‘I Will Find You’

The cast of I Will Find You just got even stronger.

Chi McBride has officially joined Netflix’s upcoming limited series based on Harlan Coben’s bestselling novel.

At the center of the eight-episode series is Sam Worthington’s David Burroughs — a man serving life in prison for the murder of his young son. But when he gets evidence that his child might still be alive, he breaks out to uncover the truth. What follows is a chase packed with secrets, grief, redemption, and everything in between.

McBride joins previously announced stars Logan Browning, Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Erin Richards, and Jonathan Tucker.

McBride will play Max Williams, a legendary agent with the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force — and he’s not the type to take a manhunt lightly. Described as dogged and deeply committed, Max is willing to chase Burroughs to the ends of the earth, even if it tears his personal life to shreds along the way.

Logan Browning plays Sarah Greer, Max’s right hand and partner in the Fugitive Task Force. Together, they’re a well-oiled machine when it comes to tracking down fugitives… until this case turns their world upside down.

Also in the mix:

  • Britt Lower as Rachel Mills, a once-decorated journalist — and David’s ex-sister-in-law — who sees a chance at career redemption when she uncovers clues about the case.
  • Milo Ventimiglia as Hayden, Rachel’s ex and a philanthropic golden boy from a wealthy Boston family who still plays a major role in her life.
  • Erin Richards as Cheryl Dreason, David’s ex-wife and a pediatric surgeon still grieving the loss of their son while trying to hold her rebuilt life together.
  • Jonathan Tucker, whose role is under wraps for now, but if you know his work, you know he always brings layered intensity.

Chi McBride is no stranger to bold, grounded characters. From Boston Public to Hawaii Five-0, Pushing Daisies, and voicing Nick Fury across Marvel’s animated series, he brings both weight and charisma to every role. On the film side, he’s popped up in everything from Gone in 60 Seconds to I, Robot and Undercover Brother. Simply put: he knows how to command a scene.

Behind the camera, Harlan Coben and Robert Hull (God Friended Me, Quantum Leap) co-created the series, with Hull also serving as showrunner. They’re joined by executive producers Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, and John Weber under Coben’s Final Twist Productions banner.

I Will Find You is the latest in Coben’s ever-growing partnership with Netflix — and his first U.S.-based series for the streamer. His previous international hits include Fool Me Once, Stay Close, The Stranger, Gone for Good, and Hold Tight, to name just a few. With Caught, Run Away, and Missing You also in the pipeline, Coben clearly isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

No premiere date yet, but with this cast and a story this juicy, I Will Find You is already on our must-watch list.
