Less than a year after launching her production company iROC Media Group, Coco Gauff is releasing her first projects. The 2025 French Open champion has partnered with Tennis Channel to produce two short documentaries set to premiere later this summer, marking her debut behind the camera.
Both films are part of Tennis Channel’s documentary series Tennis Story, directed by Vashni Korin and executive produced by Gauff. They are being produced in collaboration with Religion of Sports, the company co-founded by Tom Brady, which has previously produced In the Arena: Serena Williams and Simone Biles Rising.
The first documentary explores the evolution of fashion in tennis, tracing the cultural impact of the sport’s most iconic looks across generations. The second is a portrait of Zina Garrison, the former American star who reached a career-high ranking of No. 4 and has long been a personal inspiration for Gauff.
“I’ve always loved how tennis extends beyond the court and influences culture, which is what drew me to these two stories,” Gauff said. “Zina Garrison’s story is equally personal to me. She is a trailblazer whose resilience, excellence, and impact on the game have inspired generations, including me.”
Tennis Channel CEO Jeff Blackburn called the partnership a natural extension of what Gauff has already built on the court. “The same talent and vision that has made her a champion is now being channeled into storytelling. We’re thrilled to be the home of her filmmaking debut.”
The two films join five additional titles coming later this year under the Tennis Story banner, alongside Tennis Story: The Vault, a curated collection of 20 documentary shorts from the past decade featuring Kobe Bryant, Andy Murray, Ben Shelton, Lerner Tien and Iva Jovic among others.
