Corey Hawkins, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Awkwafina, and Simon Rex are the latest guest stars added to the second season of Peacock’s hit mystery dramedy series ‘Poker Face.’ Poker Face.
They join previously announced guest stars Giancarlo Esposito, Ego Nwodim, Sam Richardson, Cynthia Erivo, BJ Novak, Margo Martindale, John Mulaney, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, Kumail Nanjiani, Sherry Cola, Kevin Corrigan, Ben Marshall, and Kathrine Narducci.

While details about the characters they will portray remain under wraps, fans can expect Poker Face to maintain its mystery-of-the-week format. Created, written, directed, and executive produced by Rian Johnson, the show stars Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, a woman with an extraordinary ability to detect lies. Armed with this gift, Charlie hits the road in her Plymouth Barracuda, meeting new characters and uncovering strange crimes in each episode.
Season 1 of Poker Face set a high bar, featuring a star-studded lineup that included Dascha Polanco, Tim Meadows, Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Chloë Sevigny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Clea DuVall, and Judith Light, who won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy for her role as Irene Smothers.
For Season 2, Tony Tost has taken on the role of showrunner and executive producer, working alongside Johnson, Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman. The show is produced by MRC and T-Street, with Lyonne’s production company, Animal Pictures, also contributing. Lyonne is set to direct several episodes in the upcoming season as well.
Poker Face has already garnered four Emmy nominations for its first season, including a nod for Lyonne as Best Actress in a Comedy Series. With the new season’s expanded guest cast and intriguing new mysteries, fans can expect even more thrilling storytelling when the show returns.
