Get a first look at Lil Rel Howery, Ludacris in the upcoming Disney holiday comedy Dashing Through the Snow. Teyonah Parris, Oscar Nunez, Gina Brillon, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Ravi Patel, Marcus Lewis and Madison Skye Validum also star in the holiday picture.

Tim Story is directing and executive producing the film based Scott Rosenberg’s script.
Set in Atlanta, Dashing Through The Snow follows a divorced social worker for the Atlanta police department who is Grinch-y about Christmas due to a painful childhood memory. When sent on a call while spending Christmas Eve with his daughter, he inadvertently evokes the wrath of a local politician but meets a man who helps him understand the joy and magic of Christmas.

Dashing is also Story’s first time working with Disney, and he found the studio’s cultural significance both daunting and exciting. “[I’ve] always been into entertaining adults and teenagers, or whatever the case may be, but how do you entertain kids?” Story questions. “And, of course, knowing that you want to do justice for the Disney brand and so forth.”
“Anytime I was able to decorate a room or a place, it’s Disney, so you also try to take it just a little bit farther than maybe it would [go elsewhere],” Story continues. “And that’s always been fun, to just go for it and recreate Christmas. It brought me back to my childhood.”
The film is produced by Will Packer through his Will Packer Productions, and John Jacobs through his Smart Entertainment. Johanna Byer, Ross Fanger and Zac Unterman are also executive producing alongside Story.
