Fox and Rob Launch #TimeIIWatch Campaign Ahead of TIME II: Unfinished Business Release [TRAILER]

Sibil “Fox” and Robert “Rob” Richardson—known for their story in the Oscar-nominated documentary TIME—are continuing the conversation with the release of their sequel, TIME II: Unfinished Business, arriving this Juneteenth 2025. Alongside the release, they’ve launched #TimeIIWatch: A Juneteenth Campaign for Freedom, a national initiative aimed at reframing Juneteenth through organized viewings and community-driven discussions around justice and incarceration.

At the center of it all is a new model for film release—less focused on streaming platforms and more on community participation. The goal? Bring together 1 million+ people to watch the film and engage in real-time dialogue.

The Film

Directed by Fox Rich, TIME II revisits the family’s journey after Rob’s 21-year incarceration at Angola Prison. The story now shifts to their nephew Ontario, who remains in prison, and the couple’s ongoing efforts to secure his release. Their work ties into broader issues around sentencing, incarceration, and systemic gaps that continue to affect families like theirs.

“If TIME was the cry, TIME II is the call,” says Fox Rich. “This campaign is about reflecting on where we are and why some of these systems remain in place.”

Rob Rich adds, “We’re not chasing algorithm wins. We’re asking people to show up with intention. Freedom takes effort.”

A Different Kind of Premiere

Set to premiere on June 19, 2025, the film will be streamed in a national watch party format—complete with post-screening roundtables and tools for community reflection.

Registration is now open at www.TimeTwoMovie.com. Tickets are $24.99 per person, with group rates available for churches, community organizations, and families looking to host their own localized screenings.

Fox and Rob have also committed to donating $1 from each ticket to the Amistad Research Center, one of the oldest independent Black archives in the country. The goal is to raise $1 million through this campaign to support ongoing preservation of Black stories.

Reframing Juneteenth

TIME II uses Juneteenth not just as a release date, but as a lens. The campaign asks audiences to consider what freedom means today, especially with the 13th Amendment’s prison labor loophole and the ongoing realities of mass incarceration.

Instead of a typical film premiere, this is a coordinated effort to engage audiences with the material and leave space for honest, informed conversations.
