NBC has unveiled the trailer for Grosse Pointe Garden Society, its upcoming drama from Good Girls creator Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs.
The trailer opens with the ominous line, “Here’s what they don’t tell you when you join a garden club. To make something grow, something has to die,” followed by the chilling revelation, “I can’t believe we’re burying a body.”

Starring Aja Naomi King, Melissa Fumero, AnnaSophia Robb, Ben Rappaport, Matthew Davis, Alexander Hodge, Nancy Travis, and Felix Avitia, the series blends suburban drama, scandal, and murder in a story that feels like a fresh take on Desperate Housewives. The series, produced by Universal Television, is set to premiere Sunday, February 23.
The plot follows four members of a suburban garden club—Catherine (King), Birdie (Fumero), Alice (Robb), and Brett (Rappaport)—whose lives are uprooted by a shared secret: a murder no one wants to talk about. As their seemingly perfect lives begin to unravel, the characters wrestle with keeping their skeletons buried while maintaining the illusion of perfection.
King plays Catherine, an unhappily married real estate agent and mother with a tantalizing secret. Robb’s Alice is a high school teacher caught between ambition and reality. Hodge stars as Alice’s husband, Doug, who’s struggling with his own unfulfilled dreams, while Davis plays Joel, a police officer navigating personal and professional turmoil.
Executive producers Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs also serve as co-showrunners. Maggie Kiley directed the pilot and executive produces alongside Casey Kyber.
Grosse Pointe Garden Society is part of NBC’s upcoming slate of dramas, which includes Brilliant Minds, The Hunting Party, and St. Denis Medical.
