Human Resources: Keke Palmer, Rosie Perez, Thandiwe Newton Join Big Mouth Spinoff

When you think of Netflix’s new spinoff Human Resources think The Office meets Big Mouth.

Big Mouth, which is on its fifth season just introduced its new original spinoff series called Human Resources. And will introduce fans to a sea of new voice talents that include Rosie Perez, Thandiwe Newton, Jermaine Clement, Bobby Cannavale, Henry Winkler, and Maria Bamford. They join the previously announced cast that includes Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Randall Park, Aidy Bryant, David Thewlis, Keke Palmer, Pamela Adlon, and Brandon Kyle Goodman.

This new series will take a look at the Hormone Monsters featured in Big Mouth. Each monster represents a character’s hormones and guides them through their emotional lives. The spinoff will take place in the world of monsters and promises to pull back the curtain on the daily lives of the creatures. The creatures are Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards, and many more – that help humans journey through every aspect of life from puberty to childbirth to the twilight years. It quickly becomes clear that though the creatures are the protagonists, they have a lot of humanity themselves.

Perez portrays Petra the Ambition Gremlin, Clement portrays Simon Sex, Newton plays Mona the Hormone Monstress, Cannavale plays Gavin the Hormone Monster, Winkler plays Keith from Grief, and Bamford plays Tito the Anxiety Mosquito.

Maury the Hormone Monster is portrayed by Nick Kroll, Rudolph will portray Connie the Hormone Monstress , and Palmer will portray Rochelle the lovebug. Emmy the Lovebug is portrayed by Aidy Bryant, Pete the Logic Rock is portrayed by Randall Park, Goodman will portray Walter the Lovebug, The Shame Wizard will be portrayed by Thewlis and Sonya the Lovebug as Adlon.

Human Resources will premiere Friday, March 18 on Netflix.

Human Resources is co-created and executive produced by Kelly Galuska, Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin. Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, and Kelly Galuska will serve as creators and executive producers on the project.
