Season 3 will introduce an intriguing twist as the Vampire Lestat attempts to rewrite his story by forming a band and embarking on a tour. This season will introduce new characters like Gabrielle, Nicholas, Magnus, and Marius, along with recurring ones like Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, and Fareed. Viewers can expect a “sexy pilgrimage across space, time, and trauma,” as the series continues to delve deeper into the immortal universe created by Anne Rice.

Rolin Jones, the series’ creator, writer, and showrunner, expressed gratitude towards the cast, crew, and the dedicated fanbase. “Thank you to the brilliant casts and crews of the first two seasons that got us to this day. Thank you to the rabid, beautifully unwell fandom that scaled the castle walls to get us to this day,” Jones shared. He humorously acknowledged the ongoing dedication of actor Sam Reid, adding, “Sincere apologies to the family and friends of actor Sam Reid, for the possession that continues to this day. Monsieur L extends his promise to return his body upon cancellation (may that evening never come).”

The show’s executive producers include Mark Johnson, who oversees AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe, along with Jones, Mark Taylor, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice. This series, which premiered on October 2, 2022, has maintained a remarkable 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its first two seasons, reflecting its critical acclaim and strong fan support.

Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks, highlighted the show’s success, stating, “When you buy the rights to 18 Anne Rice novels that have sold more than 150 million copies, in your wildest dreams you hope there’s a show as good as ‘Interview’ on the other end. What Rolin has done with these stories and characters has exceeded the loftiest version of our expectations. We can’t wait to see where this creative team takes the series from here and know we are walking alongside an incredibly loyal and passionate base of fans who feel as strongly about this material as we do.”
