Netflix has added ten new cast members to Myron Bolitar, with Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens joining as a series regular and nine others coming aboard in recurring guest star roles. The new additions are Aikens, Jamie Hector, Amanda Warren, Isaiah Hill, Quincy Isaiah, Bebe Neuwirth, Griffin Dunne, Melissa Benoist, Charlie Tahan and Sandrine Holt.
They join a previously announced cast that includes series leads Colin Woodell as Myron Bolitar, KJ Apa as Win Lockwood and Diane Guerrero as Esperanza Diaz, alongside recently announced additions Jabari Banks as Dwayne Richmond, Chloe Fineman as Parker Quinn, Jamie McShane as Detective Ray Dimonte and Ben McKenzie as Gavin Pierce.
Myron Bolitar is inspired by Harlan Coben’s 12-book series and follows Myron after an injury ends his NBA dreams, forcing him to reinvent himself as a sports agent navigating the high-stakes and dirty world of professional sports, where saving his clients often means risking himself.
Aikens plays Wanda Green, Dwayne Richmond’s charming and smart fiancée who is determined to protect Dwayne and their relationship. Hector plays Avery Crowder, a man with a criminal past determined to succeed in the business of sports by any means necessary. Warren plays Deanna Richmond, Dwayne’s mother who worries about the pressure on her son but has complete faith in Myron. Hill plays Jayden Elder, an incoming college freshman and generational basketball player primed to be the first overall pick in the NBA draft. Isaiah plays Rodney Keys, one of Myron’s clients and an NBA player with a big heart and questionable decision-making skills.
Neuwirth plays Ellen Bolitar, Myron’s mother and former public defender. Dunne plays Alan Bolitar, Myron’s father and his source of unwavering support and good advice. Benoist plays Valerie Simpson, a former tennis star launching a comeback five years after a mysterious breakdown on center court. Tahan plays Roger Quincy, an off-kilter man who cannot seem to stay away from his past. Holt plays Detective Sharon Steele, a major case squad detective brought in to investigate a high-profile crime.
David E. Kelley and Kyle Long serve as writers, showrunners and executive producers, with Greg Yaitanes executive producing and directing multiple episodes. No premiere date has been announced.
