Jermaine Fowler and Marshawn Lynch are set to join the cast of 20th Century Studios’ upcoming heist thriller “Eenie Meanie,” directed by Shawn Simmons. The film, penned by Simmons, also star Andy Garcia, Chris Bauer, Steve Zahn, and Mike O’Malley, alongside previously announced stars Samara Weaving, Karl Glusman, Kyanna Simone, and Randall Park.
“Eenie Meanie” follows the story of Edie (played by Samara Weaving), a former teenage getaway driver who finds herself drawn back into her criminal past when Andy Garcia’s character presents her with an opportunity to save her ex-boyfriend’s life. Produced by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick of the “Deadpool” franchise, the film is currently in production in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jermaine Fowler, known for his roles in “The Wire” and “The Deuce,” brings his talent to this project following notable performances in various films. Marshawn Lynch, a former NFL star turned actor, joins the ensemble after recent appearances in several films.
