Jesse Williams Stars in Prime Video’s Italian Thriller ‘Hotel Costiera’ [TEASER]

Prime Video has dropped the official teaser trailer for Hotel Costiera, a sleek new crime thriller set against the stunning backdrop of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Starring Jesse Williams, the six-episode limited series will premiere globally on September 24, 2025. The teaser offers a moody glimpse into a world of sun-drenched luxury hiding darker secrets, with Williams’ character warning, “It’s like Neverland. It’s beautiful… but it’s full of sharks.”

Williams stars as Daniel De Luca, a half-Italian former U.S. Marine who returns to his childhood home in Positano to work as a fixer at one of the most exclusive hotels in the world. His job is to solve problems for the hotel’s ultra-wealthy guests—but things take a sinister turn when the owner’s daughter goes missing. As Daniel investigates, he finds himself entangled in a dangerous web that pushes him further than anything he experienced in combat.

The ensemble cast includes Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade. Together, they bring to life a cast of characters that inhabit a world as glamorous as it is treacherous.

Behind the camera, the series is directed by Adam Bernstein (Silo, Better Call Saul) and Giacomo Martelli (Miss Fallaci, Blanca), with writing from Elena Buccacio (Devils), Matthew Parkhill (Deep State), and Francesco Arlanch (Medici: The Magnificent). Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Lux Vide, a Fremantle company, Hotel Costiera also counts Jesse Williams among its executive producers.

Blending elements of mystery, action, and high-end escapism, Hotel Costiera is already drawing comparisons to The White Lotus and Reacher, with its stylish mix of intrigue and international flair. All six episodes will be available to stream on Prime Video starting September 24.
