Lauren London is the latest to join Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill in the untitled comedy that Kenya Barris is directing. The untitled comedy will mark as Barris’ feature directorial debut.
Barris and Hill co-wrote the film that follows a new couple (Hill and London) and their families, who find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences. Murphy and Hill will find themselves on opposite sides of some of those divides.

Sam Jay, Molly Gordon and Julia Louis-Dreyfus also star in the film.
Hill is producing through his Strong Baby shingle and Barris is producing via his Khalabo Ink Society banner. Also producing is Kevin Misher of Misher Films.
Mychelle Deschamp and Hale Rothstein for Khalabo Ink Society, Strong Baby’s Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin and Andy Berman of Misher Films are executive producing. Also exec producing are David Hyman and Charisse Hewitt Webster.

This untitled comedy reunites Murphy and Barris, who recently worked together on Amazon’s Coming 2 America. Murphy reprised his role in the follow-up to his popular ‘80s comedy and Barris co-wrote the project.
Best known for her roles on Entourage and ATL, London has been particular in what projects she signs on to in recent years most recently appearing opposite Michael B. Jordan as his wife in Without Remorse. Other recent credits include This Christmas. She is repped by WME, One Unit Management and lawyer Darryl Miller.
