Lifetime Drops Tense Trailer for ‘Taken at a Basketball Game’ [WATCH]

Lifetime just released the official trailer for Taken at a Basketball Game, an intense thriller inspired by real events. Starring D.B. Woodside (Lucifer, The Night Agent) and Claire Qute (Overcompensating, The Detail), the film follows a father’s desperate race against time after his teenage daughter is abducted at a basketball game.

Wayne Edwards (Woodside) is trying to mend his fractured relationship with his 18-year-old daughter, Robyn (Qute), and what better way to reconnect than a night out at a basketball game? But the evening takes a horrifying turn when Robyn steps away to use the restroom—and never returns. As panic sets in, Wayne realizes his daughter has been kidnapped, and with thousands of people in the arena, every second counts. Determined to find her before it’s too late, he stops at nothing to track her down.

The trailer teases a heart-pounding race against time, showing glimpses of Wayne’s frantic search, the mounting tension, and the obstacles that stand in his way. With a stadium full of people and limited clues, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Directed by Ruba Nadda and written by Richard Blaney & Gregory Small, Taken at a Basketball Game is produced by Neshama Entertainment in association with MarVista Entertainment. Executive producers include Keith Nietupski, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer, Fernando Szew, Arnie Zipursky, Dayna Zipursky, and Suzanne Berger.

The film premieres Saturday, March 15, at 8/7c on Lifetime.
