2. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

  • Release Date: January 25, 2025
  • Plot: This animated series is set in an alternate reality where Peter Parker’s mentor is Norman Osborn, not Tony Stark. It focuses on street-level stories, exploring Spider-Man’s early adventures in New York while “subverting expectations.”
  • Crew: Confirmed voice actors include Hudson Thames as Peter Parker, Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn, Hugh Dancy, Kari Wahlgren, Zeno Robinson, and Paul F. Tompkins.

3. Daredevil: Born Again

  • Release Date: March 4, 2025

After his brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have eagerly awaited Murdock’s return to the small screen following the original Netflix series, which concluded in 2018. This new nine-episode series will follow Murdock as he fights for justice, both in court and on the streets, all while facing his long-time nemesis, Wilson Fisk.
  • Cast/Crew: Charlie Cox reprises his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Poindexter. New cast members include Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl, Zabryna Guevara, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, and Ayelet Zurer, who will now portray Vanessa Marianna-Fisk.

4. Ironheart

  • Release Date: June 24, 2025
  • Plot: Following her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) returns to MIT, grappling with her expulsion and a growing partnership with Parker Robbins/The Hood (Anthony Ramos). Riri must balance her engineering genius with a descent into the dark arts, setting up a clash between science and mysticism.
  • Cast/Crew: Chinaka Hodge serves as the creator of this six-episode series, with Ryan Coogler as executive producer. The cast includes Anji White, Manny Montana, Shakira Barrera, Alden Ehrenreich, and Cree Summer.

5. Eyes of Wakanda

  • Release Date: August 6, 2025
  • Plot: This four-part animated anthology delves into Wakanda’s rich history, following the legendary War Dogs as they retrieve vibranium artifacts from across the world. It expands on the Black Panther legacy by exploring stories of past protectors and their ethical dilemmas.
  • Cast/Crew: Ryan Coogler returns to direct, with Todd Harris leading development as a storyboard artist. Many of the details on the voice cast remain under wraps, but Danai Gurira will reprise her role as Okoye, former general of the Dora Milaje and head of the Wakandan armed forces, who debuted in 2018’s Black Panther.

6. Marvel Zombies

  • Release Date: October 2025
  • Plot: Building on the What If…? episode, this animated series reimagines the MCU heroes as zombies in an apocalyptic world. Expect horror-themed action as surviving heroes fight against the infected.

7. Wonder Man

  • Release Date: December 2025
  • Plot: The 10-episode live-action series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, a.k.a. Wonder Man. Williams starts as a villain, forced into conflict by Baron Zemo before evolving into a hero with ionic-based powers. The series promises a blend of action and comedy, with “buddy-cop vibes” akin to 48 Hours or Midnight Run.
  • Cast/Crew: Created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, Wonder Man features Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery, Demetrius Grosse as Grim Reaper, Ed Harris as Simon’s agent Neal Saroyan, Lauren Glazier, Josh Gad, and Byron Bowers.
