Lionsgate Cast The Jackson 5 for Michael Jackson Biopic

The much-anticipated biopic “Michael,” directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King, is making waves with its finalized cast. The film, set to release on April 18, 2025, has generated significant buzz, especially with the revelation of the actors set to portray the iconic Jackson 5.

“Michael” is currently in production and promises to delve into the captivating narrative of one of music’s most iconic families. Joining the stellar cast are Oscar-nominee Colman Domingo as patriarch Joe Jackson, Nia Long as matriarch Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller stepping into the shoes of lawyer John Branca.

The latest buzz surrounds the announcement of the actors portraying the four brothers who formed the legendary Jackson 5. Jamal R. Henderson and Jayden Harville take on the role of Jermaine Jackson at different stages of his life, while Tre Horton and Jaylen Lyndon Hunter embody Marlon Jackson. Rhyan Hill and Judah Edwards bring Tito Jackson to life, and Joseph David-Jones and Nathaniel Logan McIntyre portray the elder and younger versions of Jackie Jackson, respectively.

Producer Graham King expressed his excitement about assembling such a talented ensemble, stating, “The truly epic nature of this film required a total of ten actors with the talent to portray the Jackson 5 through the years. I’m thrilled to bring this extraordinary group of actors and performers to worldwide audiences in this film.”

Among the younger actors, Jayden Harville, a rising talent from Newport Beach, California, makes his film debut after starting his career with Disney Jr. at the age of five. Jaylen Lyndon Hunter, hailing from Granada, Spain, brings stage experience from “The Lion King” on Broadway, while Judah Edwards, a native of South Orange, New Jersey, has showcased his talents on various streaming platforms.

On the other hand, the seasoned actors portraying the older Jackson brothers bring a wealth of experience to their roles. From Jamal R. Henderson’s notable appearances in “Mindhunter” to Joseph David-Jones’ upcoming role in the CW’s reimagining of “The 4400,” each actor adds depth and authenticity to the portrayal of this iconic musical family.
