Screenwriter and Entrepreneur Michael Elliot Launches Cinema Puzzles, Turning Iconic Film Moments Into Puzzles

Cinema Puzzles launches today with over 250 officially licensed puzzles spanning some of film’s most iconic moments.

Michael Elliot has spent decades writing movies. Now he wants fans to rebuild them, one piece at a time.

The award-winning screenwriter and entrepreneur behind Brown Sugar, Just Wright, Like Mike, Relationship Goals and more is launching Cinema Puzzles today, a premium puzzle brand built around officially licensed imagery from some of Hollywood’s most beloved films. The idea is simple: take the moments that stuck with audiences long after the credits rolled and turn them into something tangible.

Elliot is no stranger to building brands outside of Hollywood. In 2013 he founded Hammer and Nails Grooming Shop for Guys, a luxury men’s grooming lounge that has since grown to more than 70 locations nationwide. Cinema Puzzles marks his latest venture at the intersection of storytelling, culture, and entrepreneurship.

The launch collection features over 250 puzzles spanning titles from Universal Pictures, Lionsgate, and The Jim Henson Company. That means Jaws, Wicked, Love Actually, Jurassic World, and Shrek sit alongside Dirty Dancing, The Hunger Games, The Twilight Saga, and Labyrinth. Each puzzle comes packaged in a collector-grade box with a two-sided poster included for display or assembly reference. A monthly subscription is available for collectors who want to keep building year-round. Prices range from $29 to $49.

“What if the most memorable moments from our favorite movies could live beyond the screen in a way fans can touch, build, and relive?” Elliot said of the concept. For a writer who has spent his career crafting those moments, the move feels like a natural extension of the work.

Cinema Puzzles is available now at cinemapuzzles.com.
