“Where the Wind Blows” tells the story of Chase (played by Donovan), a rugged cowboy and solitary drifter who has long shut himself off from love. His world turns upside down when he performs an impulsive act of kindness for a beautiful young woman (Elaine), leading to transformative changes over the course of three days.
The film is directed by John Schimke, who co-wrote the script with Fyffe and Mike Maden. Producers include Schimke, Ashley Elaine, and Don Paul from AE Productions, Inc., along with Brandon Smith and Eden Matson from Nova Vento Entertainment. Ricki Maslar, CSA, is handling casting.
This announcement comes alongside news of Hurd’s involvement in another project, the upcoming family-centric comedy movie, “25 Miles to Normal.” The film will feature Lucas Bryant and Bruce Davison, with Rachel Nichols, Ed Begley Jr., and Dee Wallace rounding out the cast.
