Miles Fowler is heading to Netflix. The Winning Time actor has been tapped for a guest role in Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, the hit comedy series starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.
Fowler will play Lenny, a teammate of Noah (Brody) on his Matzah Ballers basketball team. His character finds himself set up with Morgan, played by Justine Lupe, adding to the show’s lineup of romantic entanglements and comedic chaos.
Netflix’s Nobody Wants This follows an unlikely romance between an agnostic podcast host, Joanne (Bell), and a recently rebounding rabbi, Noah (Brody). Their connection is undeniable, but so are the obstacles—modern dating dilemmas, clashing perspectives, and their meddling families, including Joanne’s sister Morgan (Lupe) and Noah’s brother Sasha (Simons).
Season 2 is stacking up its guest stars. Joining Fowler is Leighton Meester, reuniting with her real-life husband, Brody. Meester, best known for her iconic turn as Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, will play Abby—Joanne’s old middle school nemesis, now a full-fledged Instagram mommy influencer.
The cast also features Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Berman.
Nobody Wants This made waves when it debuted in September, climbing to the top of Netflix’s Top 10 English-language TV chart and holding strong for six weeks. A renewal quickly followed in October.
Erin Foster, the show’s creator, served as showrunner for Season 1 and remains an executive producer for Season 2. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan are stepping in as co-showrunners, with Steven Levitan, Oly Obst, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, and Bell herself rounding out the executive producing team. The show is produced by 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions.
