Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy The Wrong Paris has expanded its cast, adding 11 new names, including Yvonne Orji (Vacation Friends), Madison Pettis (He’s All That), and Naika Toussaint (Under the Bridge). They join previously announced leads Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) and Pierson Fode (The Bold and the Beautiful).

Written by Nicole Henrich, The Wrong Paris centers on Dawn (Cosgrove), who is determined to travel to France for a once-in-a-lifetime art opportunity. In a twist, she lands a spot on a Bachelor-style reality show, only to discover the show is set in Paris, Texas, not Paris, France—a stunt by the producers to boost ratings. Faced with the prospect of losing her dream, Dawn tries to get kicked off the show, but things get complicated when she begins to fall for the show’s charming bachelor, Trey (Fode).
The new cast members also include Frances Fisher (Titanic), Hannah Stocking (The Family Switch), Torrance Coombs (Reign), Christin Park (Reginald the Vampire), Madeleine Arthur (To All The Boys trilogy), Veronica Long (Billy the Kid), Emilija Baranac (Fakes), and Ava Bianchi (The Unseen). Character details for the newly added cast, have remained under wraps.
The film, which is currently in production in Vancouver. is directed by Janeen Damian (Irish Wish), with Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian producing. Janeen Damian, Amanda Phillips, Jimmy Townsend, Kelly Fraizer, and Galen Fletcher are serving as executive producers. The Wrong Paris continues Netflix’s investment in the rom-com genre, following the success of films like To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Kissing Booth.
Reps for Orji, Pettis, and Coombs have confirmed their involvement in the project, but further plot or character developments have not yet been disclosed. As the ensemble cast continues to grow, anticipation for The Wrong Paris is building, with Netflix viewers awaiting its release in 2024.
