Niecy Nash and Daughter Dia Nash Launch True-Crime Video Podcast With Pave Studios

Niecy Nash is taking her on-screen crime experience into a new medium. According to Deadline, The All’s Fair star has teamed up with her daughter Dia Nash to launch an untitled true-crime video podcast series through Pave Studios, the company founded by former Spotify executive Max Cutler, where it will live under the Crime House brand.

The weekly series will focus on crimes of passion rooted in intimacy and betrayal, covering cases involving partners, exes, spouses and lovers. The pair will share commentary and reactions to real cases in each episode.

Nash is no stranger to crime on screen, having starred in When They See Us, The Rookie and its spinoff The Rookie: Feds, Ryan Murphy’s Netflix true-crime drama Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story and much more. Dia has starred in Lifetime’s Sister Wife Murder and appeared alongside her mother in episodes of The Rookie: Feds, Monster and Claws.

“In our family we don’t just tell stories, we solve them,” the pair said in a joint statement. “We are excited to partner with Pave. Welcome to the mysteries we will unravel together.”

“Niecy and Dia embody that better than anyone,” said Pave founder and CEO Max Cutler. “Working with creators like them is only the latest example of our core philosophy in building the studio of tomorrow.”
