‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’ Trailer Levels Up the Heist Game With Bigger Stakes and New Illusionists

The Four Horsemen are back—and they’ve brought reinforcements.

Lionsgate just dropped the official trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third film in the high-stakes illusionist caper franchise. Mark your calendars: the magical mischief hits theaters November 14.

Jesse Eisenberg returns as J. Daniel Atlas, flanked once again by the original crew—Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco—as the world’s most elusive and stylish team of criminal magicians. Morgan Freeman and Mark Ruffalo are also back in the mix, reprising their roles with just the right amount of mystery.

But this isn’t just a reunion tour.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t introduces a fresh set of illusionists played by Justice Smith (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), rising star Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers), and Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), with Rosamund Pike joining as a formidable new adversary. Let’s just say the Horsemen might’ve met their match.

The film reunites Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer with Eisenberg and Harrelson, promising a slick blend of clever storytelling, eye-popping visuals, and magic that toes the line between the impossible and the cinematic. Screenwriters Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Michael Lesslie are behind the script, based on a story by Eric Warren Singer.

In true Horsemen fashion, Lionsgate kicked off the trailer reveal with a Times Square stunt that was part spectacle, part social experiment: $250,000 in digital cash was handed out to shocked bystanders. Justice Smith, Ariana Greenblatt, and Dominic Sessa were on the ground soaking it all in, adding some real-world flair to the film’s signature razzle-dazzle.

And if that wasn’t enough magic for you, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson confirmed at CinemaCon that a fourth installment is already in development—because clearly, they’ve got more tricks up their sleeve.

The franchise began in 2013 and has since pulled in nearly $700 million at the global box office. With Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the stakes—and the spectacle—are higher than ever.

So whether you’re here for the heists, the sleight-of-hand, or just to see what kind of cinematic sorcery this cast can conjure up, the Horsemen are making sure you won’t leave empty-handed.
