Paramount has finalized the cast for its upcoming Naked Gun reboot, adding CCH Pounder, Liza Koshy, Busta Rhymes, and WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Details about their roles are under wraps, but it’s confirmed that Rhodes will make a cameo appearance. Previously announced cast members include Liam Neeson as Detective Frank Drebin, Paul Walter Hauser as his partner Ed, and Kevin Durand as the film’s villain. Pamela Anderson and Danny Huston’s roles are still unknown.

Akiva Schaffer is directing and executive producing the comedy, set for release on July 18, 2025. The script is written by Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, and Schaffer. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins are producing through Fuzzy Door, with Daniel M. Stillman also serving as executive producer.
The original Naked Gun series, known for its slapstick humor and absurd scenarios, starred Leslie Nielsen as the bumbling Detective Drebin. The franchise began with 1988’s “The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!” and included two sequels, grossing over $216 million across three films.
Liza Koshy, recently seen in “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” will appear in Netflix’s “Family Affair” and Sony’s “My Ex-Friend’s Wedding.” Cody Rhodes, known as “The American Nightmare,” joined WWE in 2022 and had a notable role on The CW’s “Arrow.”
CCH Pounder, famous for her roles in “The Shield” and the “Avatar” films, recently starred in “3 Body Problem” and “NCIS: New Orleans.” Busta Rhymes, an 11-time Grammy-nominated rapper, has appeared in movies like “Halloween: Resurrection” and “Higher Learning,” and TV shows like “Fresh Off the Boat” and “Chappelle’s Show.”
