According to The Wrap, Prince’s First wife, Mayte Garcia’s best-selling memoir, “The Most Beautiful: My Life with Prince,” is set to be adapted into a biographical film by Crazy Legs Features. The book, released in early 2017, provides a unique look into the life of the iconic musician, Prince, through the eyes of his first wife, Mayte Garcia.
Mayte Garcia’s memoir recounts her relationship with Prince, which began when she was 16 years old and he was 32. After a four-year courtship, during which Prince became her legal guardian, they married in 1996. Tragically, their son, born in 1996, passed away shortly after birth due to Pfeiffer syndrome type 2, which contributed to the dissolution of their marriage in 2000.

The memoir derives its title from Prince’s song, “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,” which he wrote for Mayte in 1994. The book offers an intimate portrayal of their relationship, from its inception backstage at a concert to its development into a deep artistic and personal connection.
