Co-created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, “Mayor of Kingstown” delves into the lives of the McLusky family, influential figures in the tumultuous town of Kingstown, Michigan. The series provides a gritty exploration of themes like systemic racism, corruption, and inequality within the context of the incarceration industry, the town’s main economic pillar.

Season 3 promises to intensify the drama as explosions rock Kingstown, a new faction of the Russian mob establishes itself, and a drug war escalates both inside and outside prison walls. Jeremy Renner’s character, Mike McLusky, faces mounting pressure to quell the violence, complicated further by the reappearance of a figure from his past.

The ensemble cast includes Jeremy Renner, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, Nishi Munshi, and Michael Beach. Currently filming in Pittsburgh, the series boasts a production team including Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, and Bob Yari, among others.
