Robin Thede is penning Killing It, a zombie horror-comedy for Amazon Studios. She’s re-teaming with A Black Lady Sketch Show‘s Bridget Stokes who will direct the feature. Thede first introduced this project in 2021 and it was described it as as Shaun of the Dead meets Girls Trip.

Killing It centers on four best friends who head to Spelhouse homecoming to redeem their college reputations. However their quest for vindication instead turns into a fight for survival when a zombie apocalypse begins to terrorize the country.

She directed every Season 3 episode of the sketch comedy series and also serves as its co-executive producer.
