CBS’s Elsbeth has added another round of guest stars ahead of its Season 4 premiere on Thursday, October 8. Nat Faxon, Sam Richardson, and Lea Michele are the latest additions, joining a previously announced group that includes Nicole Scherzinger, Nicholas Braun, New York Knicks star OG Anunoby, and Jemima Kirke.
Carrie Preston returns as Elsbeth Tascioni, the unconventional consent decree attorney working alongside the NYPD to track down New York’s most entitled murderers. Season 4 brings fresh cases, family drama, and new pressures on Elsbeth and the 11th Precinct, led by Captain C.W. Wagner (Wendell Pierce).
Richardson plays Cody Baxter, a born-and-raised Coney Islander and up-and-coming competitive eater with a deadly appetite for fame. Michele plays Darcy Miles, a Pilates instructor known as the “Pilates Princess,” who flexes her muscles a little too hard when asked to whip her clients into shape. Faxon plays Perry Macintyre, the least popular member of the Nickerson Country Club, whose miraculous hole-in-one sets off a murder.
Scherzinger appears in the Season 4 premiere as Serena Collyer, a popular, highly paid relationship counselor whose torrid affair with an old flame leads to murder; in the episode, Elsbeth crosses paths with Collyer as her cool demeanor masks messier, more dangerous passions, while Teddy (Ben Levi Ross) sets a wedding date. Braun stars as Jeremy Perrick, the son of a celebrated American playwright who’s spent his life in his father’s shadow, and Kirke plays Winter Redgrave, the sleek CEO of a successful lifestyle brand whose carefully curated world unravels when her sister threatens a corporate takeover. Anunoby will make a special cameo appearance. Episode assignments for Braun, Kirke, and Anunoby have not yet been announced.
