Netflix has dropped a teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of its international drama series, Savage Beauty. The South African thriller, produced by Quizzical Pictures, is set to return on June 28 to continue its intense narrative.
The six-episode series follows the powerful Bhengu family as they fight to maintain their beauty empire. The new season picks up where the first left off, with patriarch Don Bhengu (Dumisani Mbebe) struggling to control his wife Grace (Nthati Moshesh) and children Phila and Linda (Jesse Suntele and Nambitha Ben-Mazwi). Their unpredictable actions threaten to unravel both the family and their business.

Returning cast members include Eve Rasimeni, Angela Sithole, and Oros Mampofu. New additions this season are veterans Tony Kgoroge and Abena Ayivor, along with newcomer Lebogang Fisher.
Directed by Matshepo Maja, Harold Holscher, and Rea Rangaka, Savage Beauty delves into the dark side of wealth and power as the Bhengu family faces internal and external threats as their secrets and ambitions come to light, leading to potential destruction.
