Scott Lawrence, Kyle Richards, and Jason Butler Harner Join ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 4

the lincoln lawyer season 4

The Lincoln Lawyer is rolling back into action for Season 4—and the courtroom just got a little more intense. Scott Lawrence (Paradise, Dawg, JAG) is joining the upcoming season in a guest role, alongside Kyle Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and Jason Butler Harner (Ozark).

This time around, the stakes are personal. After that jaw-dropping Season 3 cliffhanger, Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) isn’t just defending clients—he’s defending himself. When the body of a client turns up in the trunk of his signature Lincoln, the defense attorney becomes the defendant in a high-profile murder trial. It’s the kind of twist that flips the whole series on its head.

As for Mickey’s inner circle, expect the full crew back in action. Jazz Raycole returns as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco, and Becki Newton as Lorna. Season 4 also welcomes Marcus Henderson (Get Out, Snowfall) as Yannick Bamba, Mickey’s unexpected protector and guide behind bars, and Gigi Zumbado as Grace, a spirited paralegal-in-training who finds herself pulled deeper into Mickey’s legal orbit. KTLA’s Kacey Montoya is also set to make an appearance as herself.

Lawrence will step in as Judge Stone, a no-nonsense former prosecutor known for his sharp tongue, tough sentencing, and a courtroom presence that doesn’t leave much room for error. While he may be intimidating, his reputation for fairness keeps both sides on their toes.

Richards will play Celeste—a glamorous Beverly Hills socialite who finds her way to Haller & Associates, looking to hire Lorna (Becki Newton) for a divorce after getting a glowing referral. Butler Harner takes on the role of Detective Drucker, a veteran Robbery Homicide investigator who quickly becomes a serious thorn in Mickey’s side.

And yes—Neve Campbell is officially back. After a scaled-back presence in Season 3, she returns full-time as Maggie McPherson, Mickey’s ex and the prosecutor’s old colleague. Her role expands significantly this season, mirroring her character’s pivotal presence in The Law of Innocence, the Michael Connelly novel the season is based on.

Season 4 will be directed by co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, who are once again bringing Connelly’s words to life. “We’re thrilled to continue telling Mickey Haller’s story, especially as we return to film in Los Angeles,” they shared. “This show is not just about compelling legal drama; it’s a love letter to the city of LA and its noir tradition. In light of the recent devastation caused by the wildfires, we hope to bring a sense of stability and hope to the community.”

Production kicks off in February 2025 in Los Angeles, with all 10 episodes adapting The Law of Innocence, the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series.

Since premiering in 2022, The Lincoln Lawyer has become a staple in Netflix’s lineup. Season 1 stayed in the Global Top 10 for 12 weeks and reached viewers in more than 90 countries. Season 3 followed up with six consecutive weeks on the charts and earned a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.

Created for TV by David E. Kelley and developed by Ted Humphrey, the show continues to draw praise for its smart storytelling and standout ensemble. The production team includes Michael Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Matthew J. Lieberman, and Gladys Rodriguez. The series has also been recognized with the ReFrame Stamp for gender-balanced hiring behind the scenes.

No word yet on an official release date for Season 4, but if you haven’t caught up, all three seasons are now streaming on Netflix. With Mickey Haller on the other side of the courtroom, this season is shaping up to be the most gripping yet.
