Scott Mescudi, b.k.a. Kid Cudi, is set to star in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Ursa Major. The film is being directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker, the duo behind the critically acclaimed Kin, and is set to star Jessica Biel and Xochitl Gomez in lead roles.
The film, which is set on an earth-like planet, sees Charlie (Biel) and her daughter Natalie (Gomez) fighting for survival while hiding from a group of relentless hunters. The added threat of an imminent and deadly storm only adds to the tension, as Natalie begins to question her mother about their true identities and how they ended up on the planet.
According to sources, Mescudi has closed a deal to play the part of Blair, a member of an enemy faction that crash-lands on the same planet as Charlie and Natalie.
