Sinking Spring is an eight-episode series based on the 2009 book Dope Thief by Dennis Tafoya and adapted by Top Gun: Maverick scribe, Peter Craig.

The series follows two lifelong friends and delinquents, Ray (played by Henry) and Manny (played by Mando), as they pose as DEA agents to rob a mysterious house in the countryside. However, their small-time scheme quickly becomes a matter of life and death as they unintentionally reveal and unravel a massive hidden narcotics route along the Eastern seaboard.

Rhames is set to play Ray’s father, Bart, who after years in prison returns to his son’s life with explosive consequences. Nguyen will portray Ray’s friend, Ho Dinh, with Cooper as Michelle, a lawyer hired to represent both Ray and his de facto mother, Teresa (played by Mulgrew). Debrand will bring to life a younger version of Ray, with Caribel playing Manny’s girlfriend, Sherry, and Pullen as a junior DEA agent, Marchetti.

Zucker, Jordan Sheehan, Clayton Krueger, and Henry. Tafoya will serve as a consulting producer for the series.
