Ryan Coogler’s Sinners is still going strong—and now, you can bring the supernatural hit home. The horror drama, which stars Michael B. Jordan in a chilling dual role as the Smokestack twins, is now available on digital platforms. And to mark the occasion, fans just got a little extra.
Fandango released a new three-minute deleted scene online, giving viewers a glimpse into a quiet but atmospheric moment between the twins as they return to Mississippi to build their juke joint. While the full home release includes 18 minutes of deleted and extended scenes, this newly shared clip offers a taste of what was left on the cutting room floor—one more chance to enjoy the rich visuals and layered performances that define Coogler’s genre-bending story.
This comes as Sinners officially crossed $350 million at the global box office over the weekend. Released April 18, the film continues to outperform expectations and is the only original film sitting in the top 10 highest-grossing releases of 2025.
And it’s not just the box office showing love—Sinners is also a critical darling. The film holds a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes and stands as the only horror film in history to earn an “A” CinemaScore from audiences.
While talk of a sequel has been floating around, Coogler has made it clear this story is meant to stand on its own.
“I’ve been in a space of making franchise films for a bit, so I wanted to get away from that,” he told Ebony. “I was looking forward to working on a film that felt original and personal to me… I wanted it to be a holistic and finished thing.”
With strong reviews, an award-season buzz already starting, and a digital release packed with bonus content—including five behind-the-scenes featurettes and all 18 minutes of deleted scenes—Sinners continues to prove that original, culturally rooted storytelling can thrive at every level.
