About the Film
Directed by Ryan Coogler, Sinners is set in 1932 and follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack—both played by Michael B. Jordan—who return to the Mississippi Delta after years abroad and running the streets of Chicago. They come home hoping to start fresh by opening a juke joint, but something dark and unexplainable threatens to tear it all apart.
Coogler teamed up with cinematographer Autumn Durald to shoot the film entirely on film, including IMAX cameras, making the high-definition physical release especially worthwhile.
The cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, Jack O’Connell, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, and Miles Caton, along with appearances by Saul Williams, July Talk’s Peter Dreimanis, and blues legend Buddy Guy.
Why You’ll Want to Own It
With nearly $237 million at the global box office and counting, Sinners has proven to be more than a genre film—it’s a cultural statement. It’s visually rich, thematically layered, and driven by powerful performances. And while it’ll eventually head to streaming, there’s no date yet. So if you’re looking to own a physical piece of this haunting, high-concept story, now’s the time to lock it in.
