Netflix has just dropped the trailer for Spellbound, an animated fantasy adventure set to bring magic to screens this holiday season. Directed by Vicky Jenson (Shrek), the film features the voices of Rachel Zegler, Jenifer Lewis, Tituss Burgess, Nicole Kidman, and Javier Bardem, along with a score by EGOT-winning composer Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.
Spellbound follows the story of Princess Ellian (voiced by Rachel Zegler), a brave young princess in the mythical kingdom of Lumbria, who embarks on a perilous quest to break a spell that’s transformed her parents, Queen Ellsmere (Kidman) and King Solon (Bardem), into monsters. The spell not only divides her family but also threatens the kingdom itself, setting the stage for an epic journey that combines elements of classic mythology with a modern twist.
