Letitia Wright, Jamie Bell, Jeffrey Donovan, Brett Gelman, and the late Michael K. Williams are set to star in the upcoming Western/Action film, “Surrounded”. Directed by Anthony Mandler and written by Andrew Pagana and Justin Thomas, the film tells the story of freedwoman and former Buffalo Soldier, Moses “Mo” Washington, as she travels west to lay claim to a gold mine that she and her community have toiled for years to acquire.

Set in 1870 America, Mo must disguise herself as a man to navigate the dangerous world of the deep frontier. However, her plans are interrupted when her stagecoach is ambushed by a group of thieves. In a twist of fate, Mo is forced to hold legendary outlaw, Tommy Walsh, captive while the remaining passengers seek out help. What ensues is a battle of wills, as the line between captor and captive becomes blurred, and both try to survive the harsh western landscape.
Executive producers of the film include Aaron Ginsberg, William Green, Jason Cloth, Richard McConnell, and Suraj Maraboyina, while Anthony Mandler, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Michael Berman, Derek Iger, Letitia Wright, and Ade O’Adesina produced it.
The film promises to be an action-packed, thrilling Western, showcasing the talent of a star-studded cast. “Surrounded” is set to be released in on digital everywhere June 20, 2023; check out the trailer and let us know if you’re excited for its release.
