Damson Idris is going from drug kingpin in Snowfall to sports agent Rich Paul in upcoming project. While visiting Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, the British actor revealed he will be portraying the sports agent and entrepreneur. Most notably, Rich Paul is known as Lebron James' sports agent who has consistently helped James' success since the basketball phenom was first drafted. He also founded Klutch Sports Group which is a part of United Talent Agency. It represents LeBron James, Ben Simmons, John Wall and Anthony Davis, among other NBA players. It will tell about his childhood in Cleveland and the lessons he’s learned during his rose to prominence as one of the top sports agents. It will also include his influence with one of the NCAA's temporary policies. In 2019, the organization released a memo listing new requirements for agent eligibility when representing college athletes considering the NBA Draft early, according to The Athletic. One of the requirements was a bachelor’s degree, which Rich did not have. With folks dubbing the policy ‘The Rich Paul Rule,’ the agent penned an op-ed piece breaking down the limits of the policy. Six hours after the piece went live on The Athletic, the NCAA took back the bachelor’s degree requirement. And in the most recent year, Rich Paul has been making headlines for dating Adele -- for those who still may not know who he is. Damson, who is is excited to play Paul noted while on The Breakfast Club that the sports agent gave Damson his blessing for the role and sharing the news. “He called me. He was like tell the world. And I think we should. It’s time we start cherishing Black moguls and Rich is someone that people need to know.” He continued, “This guy has completely changed the game.
