They Got to the Grinch with Horror Remake The Mean One

the mean one

First it was Winnie The Pooh, now its the Grinch. We get he’s the mean one but XYZ films is taking that term literal. The Mean One is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 9, 2022.

Steven LaMorte is directing The Mean One, which takes a dark parody to the classic Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This version follows the grinch character as he goes on a murderous rampage in a sleepy mountain town during the holiday season.

Jim Carrey portrayed the lighter version of the mean one in that film 22 years ago. Because this version is very unauthorized it goes to great lengths to never use the language of the original book.
