Brian Tyree Henry, Laurence Fishuburne, and Keegan Michael Key are among six key voice cast for the upcoming Transfomers One animated movie from Paramount Animation, Hasbro, and eOne. Scheduled for release on July 19, 2024, the film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, and Jon Hamm.
Transformers One will tell the origin story of Optimus Prime (Hemsworth) and Megatron (Henry), from their time as allies to their transformation into archenemies.
Johansson is Elita, Keegan-Michael Key will voice Bumblebee with Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, and Laurence Fishburne voicing Alpha Trion. Josh Cooley is directing the feature based on a script by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.

Ramsey Naito, President of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation, made the announcement during Paramount’s presentation at CinemaCon. She expressed her excitement for the first animated Transformers movie, which will showcase a never-before-told story and much-loved characters in an origin story at the heart of the franchise.
Transformers One is executive produced by Steven Spielberg wit Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian, and Aaron Dem serving as producers. Alongside Spielberg, the executive producers include Brian Goldner, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, and Valerii An.
