Tyriq Withers Set to Star and Executive Produce Amazon MGM Studios Romantic Comedy ‘Love Love’

Tyriq Withers is heading to the US Open. The Reminders of Him star is set to star and executive produce Love Love, a romantic comedy at Amazon MGM Studios, Deadline has learned exclusively.

Isabel May is also on board to star in the film, written and directed by Joey Power, who co-wrote the script with Daniel Sweren-Becker. The story follows a struggling tennis phenom who falls for a charismatic local ball boy at the US Open, with their unlikely romance potentially providing the spark she needs to make it to the finals.

Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum of RK Films and Ari Lubet and Jonathan Berry of 3 Arts Entertainment are producing. Power and Alyssa Altman also executive produce alongside Withers. Production is set to begin this fall in New York.

Withers most recently starred in Universal Pictures’ Reminders of Him, the feature adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2022 novel. Prior to that he starred in Him, a supernatural horror feature from Universal Pictures and Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, a performance that earned him two nominations at the 2026 57th Annual NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in a Motion Picture. He was also among the leads in Sony’s I Know What You Did Last Summer.
