Four more actors have been added to the cast of NBC’s upcoming medical drama pilot, Wolf. Spence Moore II, Ashleigh LaThrop, Aury Krebs, and Alex MacNicoll will join previously announced star Zachary Quinto in the show.

Inspired by the books The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars by Oliver Sacks, Wolf follows Dr. Oliver Wolf (Quinto), a brilliant and eccentric neurologist, and his team of interns as they explore the mysteries of the human mind while also grappling with their own mental health and relationships.

Moore will portray Dr. Jacob Nash, a former college football star who pivoted to studying medicine after an injury. He secretly worries he suffers from concussion-related brain trauma and self-medicates to cope with his fear.

LaThrop’s character is Dr. Ericka Kinney, a first-year intern at Bronx General who has always lived her life by the book. Now, with Dr. Wolf as her new attending, she is thrust into the most unpredictable environment possible while also juggling a secret from her fellow interns.

Krebs will play Dr. Dana Dang, who has gained a following on social media by providing mental health tips and tricks. Though she is transparent about her anxiety, she prefers to pop a Xanax rather than work to identify the root of her issues.

MacNicoll will play Dr. Van Markus, who has a rare, undiagnosed condition that he has lived with his entire life. He struggles to treat patients in crisis and experiences a crisis of confidence when he discovers that Dr. Wolf keeps him close to study his condition.
